David Tatasciore is an audio engineer, sound designer, and music editor based in New York. He is the co-producer and sound designer of What's The Story?, a fiction podcast that's both a love letter to public radio storytelling and a satire of "post-truth" America.
Beginning his career as an engineer at the respected Ivory Productions studios near Philadelphia, David cultivated a passion for all things audio – from recording and mixing bands to producing compelling audio storytelling for radio and podcasts.
David has since worked as a sound designer for film, TV, and various advertising/creative agencies, as well as award-winning scripted audio fiction, and has recorded, mixed, and mastered records for a number of musicians. He is a proud graduate of Montgomery County Community College, and received a master's degree in Music Technology from the Steinhardt School at New York University in 2019.
