David Tatasciore is an audio engineer, sound designer, and music editor based in New York. He is the co-producer and sound designer of What's The Story?, a fiction podcast that's both a love letter to public radio storytelling and a satire of "post-truth" America, and the sound designer of You're the Last One, which was awarded Best Horror Podcast at the 2023 Minnesota WebFest.

 

Beginning his career as an engineer at the respected Ivory Productions studios near Philadelphia, David cultivated a passion for all things audio – from recording and mixing bands to producing compelling audio storytelling for radio and podcasts.

David has since worked as a sound designer for film, TV, and various advertising/creative agencies, as well as award-winning audio fiction, and has recorded, mixed, and mastered records for a number of musicians. He is a proud graduate of Montgomery County Community College, and received a master's degree in Music Technology from the Steinhardt School at New York University in 2019.
